Great news! Explore_hongkong is launching the Explore_HongKong Calendar for year 2024, in collaboration with Tai Cheong Calendar Limited, which has over 40 years of experience in the production of different calendar products. To celebrate the launch of the Explore_HongKong Calendar for year 2024, we would like to invite you to experience the charm of Sham Shui Po like a local with us!
In this 2-hour tour, we are going to visit various street markets and old shops popular among local aunties and uncles and learn about the stories and history behind the old shops and historical buildings we see along the way. There are three local food stops during the tour! Let’s enjoy Hong Kong-style eats in the Michelin-recommended restaurants!
We will then check out something important for every New Year and Lunar New Year - the traditional calendars and Lai See (Red Packets). I am sure you will be amazed by how much you can forecast from a traditional calendar - our position of fortune, the dos and don’ts and the way to maximize luck on EACH DATE of 2024. We will also check out different types of Lai See (red packets) and learn about the auspicious meaning behind the designs. We will teach you how to choose the right one for different occasions (Lunar New Year is coming! That means it is time to get red packets).
